Veteran Banners

The city of El Dorado has a long and impressive history of honoring our veterans.  One of these programs is the ‘Veteran Banner Program”, an El Dorado Main Street project that began in 2017.  We currently have 72 “Veteran Banners” that represent every branch of service from the Civil War to Current!

The “Veteran Banners” are scheduled to fly twice a year.  Memorial Day through the 4th of July and again November 1st through the end of the month.  While we can’t guarantee an exact date when the banners go up and go down due to a number of factors such as weather, we try our best to meet the schedule.
